Qualifications

The Gainsight End User Certificate is for Customer Success professionals of all experience levels. It's also open to non-customers who are serious about learning the Gainsight CS application and are ready to take the first step. The exam is designed to assess whether you understand the core concepts and can complete the most common CSM tasks in the Gainsight CS application.

Candidates should successfully complete the self-paced Gainsight End User courses for NXT, or possess the equivalent experience and knowledge prior to taking the exam. If you fail the exam on your first attempt, we strongly recommend you take the time to review the course content before using your free retakes!

We strongly recommend completing the following courses before taking the exam. We also recommend hands-on practice with Gainsight. If you don't have access to an instance of Gainsight, and you're serious about learning Gainsight end user functionality, you may request access to a training environment here.

Exam Format

• Content: 32 multiple-choice/multiple-select questions
• Time allotted to complete the exam: 45 minutes
• Prerequisites: Web-based training courses listed above
• Passing score: 80%
• Registration fee: USD $99, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
• Retake fee: Your initial purchase includes 2 free retakes. 
• Delivery method:
• Unproctored exam delivered through Gainsight University.
• Advance scheduling is not required; you can take the exam at any time.
• The exam is currently available in English only.
• Certificate Validity Period: this certificate is valid for 2 years.
